Day 329 - Busy is Your Choice

How can you possibly invest yourself in a passion project when the day job is all-consuming? How can one working love compete with another? Ever?!

The four-letter excuse to postpone your most eager output is ‘busy’. You’re too busy to finish that song, too busy to write that book, too busy to see that friend. Those of us privileged enough not to be worrying about water are busy with something. We’re above the baseline of Maslow’s hierarchy of needs. Busy becomes us.

The challenge to you, as an individual, is to consider what you’ve allowed yourself to become busy with. Much of your schedule is busy, busy, busy because you’ve made the choices that make it so.

Busy is a choice. Yours.

What are you putting off because you’ve convinced yourself that you’re too busy?
