About Ross

Ross completed his MChem at the University of York in 2015. During this time he undertook a year in industry at pharmaceutical company Takeda based in Cambridge. From there, Ross moved on to work as a Graduate Chemist for Charles River in Hatfield for around one year, before moving to GSK Stevenage. After two years at GSK, Ross enrolled in Strathclyde-GSK Collaborative PhD scheme, under the supervision of Dr Rob Young (GSK) and Dr Marc Reid (Strathclyde). His project focuses on evaluating novel strategies in the hits to leads arena, complemented by cutting edge deployment of structure/property based design and exploitation of efficiency metrics.
